Bake For Hope invites businesses, groups and individuals to join our nationwide community of supporters.

from the oven to the cure

The event. Bake for Hope is a week long, nation-wide, 100% volunteer-run, bake sale event happening, May 1st - 8th, the week leading up to Mother's Day. Proceeds donated to local Susan G. Komen for the Cure affiliates.

The purpose. To show our love, honor, and support for the mothers and women everywhere. This was designed for everyone to participate in giving back, from kids to seniors, businesses to individuals, and have fun while doing it.

Join. Participation is easy and free. Volunteer as a bake sale Organizer, Baker, or Communicator. Businesses can participate as location hosts, organize team sales and bakeries and businesses can sponsor in a variety of ways and everyone can Donate or Attend!

What's great. This is a true grass roots effort. There is no budget, no big financial sponsors (yet), just an idea with a purpose to connect an incredible community of givers who want to participate in giving back. Our first year had incredible success and we are excited for what is to come! Thank you for your support!

Second Year Success!

We had over 90 sales nationwide and hundreds of suppporters for our 2010 event! Together we raised 41k dollars!

March 2012

Bake for Hope is closing for 2012. While we have had a great 3 years, Microsoft online small business is closing its free websites and emails. (our web host and site designer) We need to build a new site and set up all parts of the backoffice operations. This took hundreds of personal hours, that I dont have to give at this time. A formal announcement will be sent in the coming weeks. We will be collecting donations to hire a designer to build the BFH site for 2013 and build in some back office support functions to expand BFH even more. If you'd like to donate send any amount to the address on our About Us page. Watch for updates on BFH Twitter and Facebook . Thank you all for your continued support.
